Years ago I went to a bar to watch one of the first UFC pay per views. I was curious about the new sport of MMA. Immediately I was shocked to see two men violently attacking each other in a cage. I laughed and thought this had to be the lowest form of entertainment. Behaving like cavemen....they both kinda looked like cavemen come to think of it. Anyway everyone at the bar was loving it. Finally one of the fighters beat the other guy so badly they had to end the fight. Meanwhile the bar patrons we're excited by the bloody finish. So much so that they were hooting and gesturing almost like apes. At that point I realized how primitive people are. Merely monkeys with a human expression..(cue the sad violin music). In our struggle to transcend our egos we are still dominated by the reptilian brain. Hardwired to conquer and control others.
